Start off your mornings with this deliciously healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding!
My love affair with Peanut butter is a never-ending one. But here’s the deal – I don’t like eating peanut butter just as is. I mean here’s my husband who can gobble up spoonfuls of peanut butter – and me? Not so much. But when you mix it with the right combination – I can eat it without batting an eyelid!
So a while back I had shared Chocolate Chia Pudding and then, recently I was like – “Hey why not add peanut butter to it? I’m sure it will taste amazing!”
And turns out – it was a bowl Full of Happiness!
For this Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding, you can use creamy or crunchy Peanut Butter – totally depends on what you like (I am Team creamy and the hubby is Team Crunchy. What do you prefer?) But of course if you are allergic to peanuts, you are free to use any nut butter of your choice. This time around, I also swapped the brown sugar for honey.
Chia seeds may look teeny-tiny but they are loaded with nutrient (I usually get this brand) If you’d like to know the benefits of Chia seeds – check out this post where I talk about some of the superfoods that you should add in your diet!
So if you want to start off an amazing morning with an irresistible breakfast, read on to find out how I made this delicious recipe.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding
Ingredients
- Peanut Butter - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
- Honey - 2 tbsp
- Chia Seeds - 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and stir properly until everything is mixed properly. (You can even use a blender to mix everything properly but I prefer to properly mix it with a spatula)
- Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
Notes
I like my Chia Pudding to be on the thicker side. But you can adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk.

January 14, 2017What I love to do is make overnight oats in an almost empty peanut butter jar. The oats absorb the taste of the peanut butter and I don’t have to add any extra. Except maybe cocoa powder, that’s a great idea. Why hadn’t I thought of that? Great recipe!

March 17, 2017Hi Danielle, if you wish, you can completely omit chocolate and just make a peanut butter chia seed pudding. We love it even without adding the cocoa powder
