Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chia Pudding - an awesome and healthy breakfast option!

Start off your mornings with this deliciously healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding!

Happy January!! Let’s start the New Year on a Healthy Note! My love affair with Peanut butter is a never ending one. But here’s the deal – I don’t like eating peanut butter just as is. I mean here’s my husband who can gobble up spoonfuls of peanut butter – and me? Not so much. But when you mix it with the right combination – I can eat it withoutΒ batting an eyelid!

So a while back I had shared Chocolate Chia Pudding and then, recently I was like – “Hey why not add peanut butter to it? I’m sure it will taste amazing!”

And turns out – it was a bowl Full of Happiness!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding

For this Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding, you can use creamy or crunchy Peanut Butter – totally depends on what you like (I am Team creamy and the hubby is Team Crunchy. What do you prefer?) But of course if you are allergic to peanuts, you are free to use any nut butter of your choice. This time around, I also swapped the brown sugar for honey.

Chia seeds may look teeny-tiny but they are loaded with nutrients. If you’d like to know the benefits of Chia seeds – read this post where I talk about some of the superfoods that you should add in your diet!

So if you want to start off an amazing morning with an irresistibleΒ breakfast, read on to find out how I made this delicious recipe.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chia Pudding

Ingredients

  • Peanut Butter - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Chia Seeds - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl and stir properly until everything is mixed properly. (You can even use a blender to mix everything properly but I prefer to properly mix it with a spatula)
  2. Keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Notes

I like my Chia Pudding to be on the thicker side. But you can adjust the consistency by adding a little more milk.

What I love to do is make overnight oats in an almost empty peanut butter jar. The oats absorb the taste of the peanut butter and I don’t have to add any extra. Except maybe cocoa powder, that’s a great idea. Why hadn’t I thought of that? Great recipe!

I loved the chocolate chia pudding and now it will be even better with peanut butter. I am a “Team Crunchy”. I also love almond butter so will use whatever I have on hand. Thanks!

Hi Danielle, if you wish, you can completely omit chocolate and just make a peanut butter chia seed pudding. We love it even without adding the cocoa powder 😊

I needed time to get used to the peanut butter taste (I tried it in the USA 5 years ago for the first time), but after a while I got really addicted to it, so I would love to try all the peanut butter stuffs. Well, this is one recipe I’d love to try *.* Amazing post!
