I always try and use organic products whenever I can. And when it comes to skincare, I’m always extra careful and always make sure what type of ingredients are in the products that I am using. So when SimplyScrub – a company which specializes in 100% organic, all-natural, handmade body scrubs, reached out and said they wanted to send some of their products, I was naturally excited to try them out!

Chocolate Body Scrub ($14 for 3.5 oz jar)
Starting with my most favorite – this Chocolate body scrub smells so heavenly and I bet that you’d be tempted to eat it just the way I was! I mean it smells exactly like chocolate or a delectable chocolate mousse. I’m not even kidding you when I kept opening the jar just to smell the chocolate! And mind you, it’s not an overly sickening sweet smell. It’s basically perfection!
This scrub has all-natural cacao nibs along with brown sugar and other goodies. When you apply it onto your skin and rub it in a circular motion, you can feel a mild exfoliation which is perfect since sometimes excessive exfoliating beads in scrubs can be too harsh, especially for sensitive skin.
I enjoyed the scent of this scrub the most since I love anything chocolate (I mean, who doesn’t?) The whole time I was in the shower, it felt as if I’m in some kind of a chocolate bakery 😀
My skin felt nourished and moisturized after using the scrub. Normally I feel like applying some kind of a body lotion right after the shower as my skin is dry. But after the scrub, my skin definitely felt much softer than when I just use a regular body wash.

Rose Body Scrub ($16 for 3.5oz)
The moment you open this jar, you will feel as if you have walked inside a Rose Garden. It made me feel like I’m in a spa with its floral fragrance. Just like the Chocolate body scrub, it made my skin soft, nourished and moisturized without giving an overly greasy feeling.
This scrub is best for your evening or late night showers since the smell definitely helps you to relax and unwind after a long tiring day.

I was also sent a sample of their Coffee & Soursop scrub which retail for $14 & $13 per 3.5 oz respectively.
I have used a couple of coffee scrubs in the past and have also made my own. So if you love your morning cup of coffee, you will definitely enjoy this coffee scrub. It has the exfoliating power of coffee beans along with a little brown sugar and dead sea mineral salt. It has a very strong coffee aroma which will make you feel that you just walked into your favorite coffee shop.
As for the Soursop scrub, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect and I had to look it up. Apparently, the Soursop plant has various benefits. Along with the Soursop, this scrub also has coconut oil and a little tea tree oil to keep pores clean and debris-free.
Pros:
- Clean organic ingredients, no harsh chemicals and has an amazing fragrance.
- Provides gentle exfoliation
- Makes skin feel nourished and soft
Cons:
Honestly, there are no real cons that I can think of at the moment. The only thing I would say is that the scent doesn’t last on your body for too long after you take a shower. But then again, many people, including me actually prefer that.
Price:
A 3.5 Oz jar ranges between $14-$16 depending on the type of scrub as each scrub has different ingredients. Of course, if you compare them to drugstore brands, they may seem a tad bit pricier. But considering the fact that these are 100% organic and homemade body scrubs they are absolutely worth it. After all your skin is getting that much-deserved love.

To summarize, I’m totally in love with SimplyScrub products. They are a perfect way to pamper yourself or even better, a perfect gift for your loved one.
