This heavenly smelling Coffee Sugar Body Scrub is just what you need to pamper yourself!
I’m in love with all things that smell amazing. Whenever I’m in the mall, I’m almost immediately drawn to stores like Bath and Body works or The Body Shop. I mean how can anyone resist? I often have to control the urge of going inside these stores as I know I’ll end up buying stuff when in reality, I already have a stock full of products at my home.
And speaking of amazing fragrances, I also love skincare products that smell heavenly.
One of the products that I regularly use in my skin care routine is body scrubs. I love that exfoliating and moisturizing feeling you get after using a body scrub when you take a nice hot shower. (Ahh! Love that total feeling of bliss!)
I’ve been meaning to make my own body scrub since a long time. Not because I don’t love all the amazing body scrubs that are easily available, but because I wanted to make something that was –
-
completely free of any chemicals or preservatives, and
-
something that was a slightly cheaper alternative 😀
I also admit that I’m totally addicted to coffee and so I naturally love all things that smell like coffee.
After I made this Coffee Sugar body scrub, I was amazed at how heavenly it smells. It’s like you’d almost want to taste it. Hey, don’t look at me, you’ve been warned.
Pinterest was my source of inspiration for this DIY body scrub and I wish I would have made it sooner. All you need are 3 ingredients from your kitchen and you have your very own body scrub that is totally free from any harsh chemicals!
You can even gift this to people who are close to you – after all, nothing says I love you more than a handmade gift!
Coffee scrub is said to have a lot of natural benefits –
It helps to exfoliate your body and is said to help improve blood circulation. Caffeine is also said to reduce the cellulite in our body. For best results, massage the scrub gently onto your skin and then rinse it off.
So here’s how I made this easy 3 Ingredient Coffee Sugar Scrub –
- 1/2 cup Ground Coffee
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (you can use brown sugar as well)
- 1/4 cup – Almond oil (Olive oil, jojoba oil or coconut oil also works well)
Put all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix it properly. Store in an airtight container. And enjoy!
I feel this scrub has just the right amount of oil, but by all means, you can adjust it as per your needs. I don’t like my body scrubs if they are too oily. While they are great at moisturizing, many times body scrubs with too much oil in it can make the bathtub oily and I don’t want to slip and fall 😀
Since this Coffee Sugar Scrub has all natural ingredients, I prefer making it in smaller batches. You don’t want to make a big batch and then find mold growing in it. This scrub keeps well for about 2 weeks.

So go on and pamper yourself with this easy and natural 3-Ingredient Coffee Sugar Scrub. You deserve it!
And now all this coffee talk has suddenly made me thirsty. I’m off to make a nice, piping hot cup of coffee.
Have you made your own body scrubs at home? I would love to know.
