Your search for an easy and delicious Halloween treat ends here. These Candy Corn Fruit Parfaits not only look delicious but are healthy as well.
Halloween is synonymous with candy. During these sugar overloaded days, I’m sure many of you might be looking for a healthy treat to give out to your kiddos.
These Candy Corn inspired fruit parfaits are perfect as a treat for your little ones or for a Halloween party. So go ahead and trick them with this giant bowl of healthy deliciousness!
This can also be a great last-minute party snack and your guests will appreciate this thoughtful gesture. Plus you won’t feel guilty that you are handing out sugary treats to everyone. Just 3 ingredients and you are basically done!
All you have to do is layer a glass or a clear container with chunks of pineapple and oranges and top it off with whipped cream to make a cute and delicious Candy Corn treat!
I used canned pineapple and fresh oranges but the choice is yours. You can use canned or fresh fruits- whatever is easier and convenient for you and top it off with some Whipped cream! Instead of pineapples, you can use mangoes, melons – basically, any fruits that resemble the colors of candy corn.
For an even healthier alternative, you can put your favorite greek yogurt or vanilla yogurt as the topping. If you wish to serve a larger group, you can use clear plastic containers to serve.
Here is what you’ll have to do. You can adjust the sizing as per your requirement –
Candy Corn Fruit Parfaits – A Healthy Snack
Ingredients
- Pineapple (cut into small pieces) - 4 cups
- Oranges/ tangerines (cut into small pieces) - 4 cups
- Whipped Cream - for topping (I used Reddi-Wip)
Instructions
- If using canned fruits, drain all the liquid
- Layer 1/3 of each glass with pineapple pieces. Then add an layer of navel/ mandarin oranges/ tangerines.
- Top each serving with a generous dollop of Whipped Cream and you are done!
Notes
Keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Or put the whipped cream on the fruits just before serving so that it won't melt.

October 26, 2016Did you do it all by yourself?
smilingnotes
October 26, 2016Yes it’s definitely nice since I can now have various plugins as well as display ads in order to monetize my blog. My husband helped me but yes, we did it ourselves. It was work, but it was worth it ?
