The New York Botanical Garden recently had their Annual Orchid Show and being a lover of orchids I knew I had to go see it.
As I walked into the place, I was totally mesmerized! I had never seen soooo many varieties of orchids in my life!
The effort that must have been required to put up the hanging orchid Chandeliers as well as the overall display was commendable. Everything was under a controlled environment as orchids are really delicate flowers.
It was like some kind of a Tropical Paradise! Definitely one of a kind and an absolute treat to the eyes! One could easily stay there for a few hours. After 6pm, they had music and wine for a little additional fee but we didn’t stay as we had other plans.
If you get a chance to visit such a show, do not hesitate a bit and just go for it. As for me and my husband, it was a day well spent!
