So my husband and I always love to try out different cuisines and Mediterranean is one of our favorites. We have tried a few places which serve awesome Mediterranean food. But recently a friend suggested this place called Omar’s Mediterranean Cuisine in New York city.

This is by far one of the best places to have hummus and Schwarma.  Last week we ate there for the 3rd time and ordered a platter of Omar’s Signature Dish which is a combination of grilled meat. It comes with 2 warm and very soft pita bread, 2 sides of your choice and rice.

I wasn’t in the mood for falafel so we ordered a side of Hummus and Turkish eggplant. Now let me tell you another thing. I am not a huge fan of eggplants. But boy! Is their preparation awesome!

 

 

At the end, they also serve you 2 small pieces of Baklava – a traditional sweet pastry.

Both of us were full after this wholesome meal and we left the place with a huge smile on our face.
