I’m being given complimentary tickets to attend this event but all opinions expressed are mine.
Calling all food enthusiasts living in the New York and New Jersey area. The Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo is the biggest event of its kind in the US and it’s coming to New Jersey in October!
Are you someone who loves trying out new food? Is someone in your family allergic to nuts or any other food items? Or maybe you or someone you know has dietary restrictions and has to follow a gluten free diet?
Whether you are someone who is looking for great tasting specialty products, wanting to learn to cook as per your dietary restrictions or just someone who is looking to have fun at a fabulous Food Event, the Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo has it all.
Oh, and I also have a fun giveaway where 5 lucky winners will get a free ticket to attend this event. So stay tuned till the end of the post.
So what exactly is this Expo all about?
Many of us have specific dietary requirements and sometimes getting your hands on food products that meet these requirements can be challenging as well as expensive. The Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Food (GFAF) Expo focuses on creating awareness and reaching consumers based on these requirements.
They not only meet the needs of the Celiac community but also those with gluten sensitivities, auto-immune/inflammatory diseases as well as autism.
It will take place on Oct 14 (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) and Oct 15 (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) in Secaucus, New Jersey.
What can you expect at the GFAF Expo and what is included in your ticket?
-
Entry into the Event which has more than 100 vendors (most of them are food items but may also include health and beauty items)
-
Free products, coupons and discount purchases given by vendors. You will also be given a reusable bag to carry your goodies.
-
Samples from the Vendors that are gluten-free
-
Classes that will help you educate and follow a diet based on your requirements and receive information from top-notch speakers.
The Expos are a fun, family-friendly, educational & safe place made just for you. Going by the past testimonies of people who have attended this Expo, it’s a really fun event where you can meet and interact with some of the best retailers, get to taste free food as well as buy things at a discounted price.
So if you stay in New Jersey or New York, do not miss it. I’m really excited for this event and will be attending both days.
