With summer just around the corner, it’s time to bust out your grills and sip on some cool and refreshing drinks. This Sweet and Spicy Jalapeño Mango Margarita hits just the right notes and is the perfect combo of sweet and spicy flavors while you soak in some sunshine.
The sunny days are here again and I could not be happier. We have already started gardening (although I am just a beginner at it) and our patio is practically where we are always hanging out every evening.
It has been a while since I posted a drinks recipe but this refreshing warm weather has inspired me to share one of my most favorite drinks with all of you.
This Sweet and Spicy Jalapeño Mango Margarita is just what you need on a hot summer day – an easy cocktail that you can make just for yourself or for a group of friends.
If you know me I love experimenting and making my own drinks at home. I also absolutely love taking inspiration from my travel ventures and this Sweet & Spicy Mango Margarita is inspired by one of our trips to Texas that we took a few years back.
It was one of our best and memorable trips especially when it came to food & drinks. We tried so many amazing barbecue restaurants and I had gorged on tons of spicy mango ice cream as well as spicy mango shaved ice.
And since my favorite fruit happens to be mango and one of my favorite drinks is margaritas, what better way to combine the two of them and make a Mango Margarita?!
Also, we don’t have any plans of traveling any time soon, so this delightful Margarita is a great way to enjoy summer in the comfort of our home.
This Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño Mango Margarita has just the right amount of sweet and spicy flavor and hits just the right notes. Oh and if you are having company over, you can totally impress them with this fancy-looking drink. My husband is not a margarita person, but he was totally in love with this refreshing summer cocktail!
Trust me, just like me, this will become your new favorite summer drink. Sipping on this cool margarita and eating grilled food while enjoying the sunshine is what summer dreams are made of!
This Jalapeño Mango Margarita recipe is as easy as easy can get. Just put everything in a blender and you are good to go.
A few things to know before you go ahead with this recipe –
-
Do you need fresh mangoes? You can use frozen mangoes if you don’t have fresh mangoes at hand. I have used fresh ones since they are easy to find at this time of the year.
-
One of the best parts about this recipe is that I have not added any sugar to it. Instead, to take things to the next level and to give it that sweet mango flavor, I have added Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Mango Syrup.
Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Syrups have no artificial sweeteners, no artificial preservatives, no GMOs, and gives the perfect amount of sweetness while giving this margarita the mango flavor. I highly suggest you not skip it.

I have used Tajin seasoning to rim my margarita glass. What if u don’t have it? Don’t worry – you can make your own with a blend of a little chili powder and salt. You can even use plain salt if you’d like to rim the glass. You can even use plain salt if you’d like to rim the glass.
Now that we have covered a few basics, let’s get started with this fabulous and refreshing drink –
Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño Mango Margarita
Ingredients
- Chopped Mangoes - 1 cup
- Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Mango Syrup - 4 tbsp (2 tbsp per drink)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Tequila - 1 oz
- Triple sec - 2 oz (optional)
- Jalapeño - 4 - 5 slices
- Ice cubes - 2 cups
- Tajin seasoning - 1 - 2 tbsp (to rim your glass)
Instructions
- To rim your glass, first put lime all over the rim of your glass and then dip the glass into the tajin seasoning. Set your glasses aside.
- Put your chopped mangoes, Torani Mango Syrup, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and ice in a blender and blend till everything is well combined. Add your margarita mixture into your glass and top it with 1 or 2 slices of jalapeños. And Enjoy!
Notes
If you want to make it more like a frozen margarita (i.e with a thicker consistency), I suggest you add more ice so your margarita will be on a thicker side. Personally, I prefer it not to be too thick, but it tastes great both ways.
I have added my jalapeño slices at the very end and the spicy flavor is slowly released into the drink as you sip it. If you want, you can add 2-3 slices of jalapeños to the mango syrup and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then remove the jalapeños and pour the syrup along with the other ingredients into the blender.
If you can handle a little extra heat, you can even add 1-2 slices of jalapeños directly into the mango & ice mixture in the blender. Don't worry - the sweetness of the mango and the mango syrup will compensate for the heat.
