Make sure you start your day on the right note by following some simple steps to jumpstart your mornings.
With the onset of the new year, when everyone around us is trying to follow their new resolutions, do you often feel that you are not able to achieve your goals because you feel slumped in the morning?
Here are a few ways to make your mornings brighter and better.
1. Say No to Screen Time in the morning
What’s the first thing that you do in the morning even before you get out of bed? I’m sure many of you might say – “I check my phone.” Although it’s tempting to do that, lately I have stopped checking my phone as soon as I get up.
Because the moment you open your phone and start scrolling through messages or emails, your brain starts thinking about a million things.
Instead, make the morning all about you and focus on yourself and what you want to achieve that day.
2. Warm water
I always start my day with a glass of warm water. I mostly squeeze lemon juice in it as warm lemon water is said to have many benefits like detoxifying our body and aiding digestion.
But if you’re not a fan of warm lemon water, try having just plain warm water. It will definitely help you to start your day on a much brighter note.
3. Have a ready to go breakfast
Many people, including me, do the mistake of not having breakfast on time or having breakfast with no real benefits to the body. Ideally, it’s said that one should have breakfast within one hour of getting up.
The most common reason why I sometimes end up skipping breakfast is that sometimes I’m so busy that I honestly don’t have the time to make a decent breakfast which will give me the required protein.
Does that happen to you too? What if I tell you that I have found an easy solution for this? I recently gave Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles® a try and loved its simplicity and convenience. The best part about them in that it is a protein-filled breakfast and is ready under 2 minutes!
They consist of two real eggs, cheese, sausage and bacon. All you have to do is pour in the eggs, stick it in the microwave, and enjoy!
With no clean up, you can be out the door and ready to start your day. I sometimes even eat it in the car if I’m in a rush. It’s affordable, convenient and something that my family loves!
When we recently came back from our vacation, I cannot even tell you how relieved I felt when I saw that I had stocked up my fridge with Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles® on my trip to Walmart.
Here’s a quick video how you can quickly make a delicious protein-rich breakfast within seconds –
4. Plan out everything the day before
In order to avoid frantically searching for your things before you leave your door, keep all the things that you need like your keys, wallets, purse in organizers or bins in your coat closet or near your door. Similarly planning out your outfit for the next day can also be a huge time saver and can avoid early morning frustrations.
5. And Finally, Surround yourself with Motivation
I like to surround my workspace with positive quotes to always remind me to work hard and focus on my goals. I also like to set my phone wallpaper with some of my favorite positive quotes because that’s the one thing that we always carry with us wherever we go.
It can serve as a reminder to stay positive and focus towards your goals for the day.
I’m sure with these few simple yet effective tips, you can look ahead to brighter and better mornings this year!
Have you tried out Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles®? You can find it at your local Walmart in the refrigerated aisle.
