These Pepperoni Pizza Twists paired with some delicious popcorn are the perfect party menu!
The 59th Grammy Awards are coming this weekend and I’m super excited to see this year’s winners! Some of my favorite singers have been nominated and well, let’s just say, the best one wins! I love looking at the best (& of course the worst) dressed celebrities and it’s a lot of fun guessing who the winners will be! The Grammy’s also mean yet another excuse to party!
So for the upcoming weekend, when all the stars will be sizzling on screen during the Grammy’s, these delicious and easy Pepperoni Pizza Twists will be sizzling on our plates! To make it even better, I paired them with some delicious Popcorn. They are my go-to snack, be it movies or a late night show. It’s so versatile plus it’s kind of a guilt-free snack, don’t ya’all agree?
You see, even though you may not be attending the Grammy’s, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have fun! Sometimes, I feel chilling out at home with friends turns out to be a better idea, rather than going out to crowded restaurants. We love hosting parties at our home and I’m always looking for a reason to call our best friends over and spend some time with them. After all, good friends + good food = a great weekend!
Of course, no party is complete without some delicious appetizers. I always like to keep my party menu simple yet delicious so that I can worry less and have more fun!
This Pepperoni Pizza Twist recipe is way too simple – you can even ask the kids to join the fun. I got some store-bought crescent dough, put cheese and pepperoni on it. After folding & twisting them, I put those babies in the oven! And voila, appetizers are done!
Seriously, you can’t go wrong with these type of recipes! I then paired them with White Cheddar SkinnyPop Popcorn and my party appetizers were all set!
So here’s the delicious recipe –
Ingredients
- Crescent Dough Sheet - 1
- Pepperoni - 15 to 20 (depending on the size)
- Grated cheese - 1/2 cup (I used 3 cheese blend)
- Italian seasoning - a pinch (to sprinkle on top)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Unroll the Crescent dough and cut it into rectangles.
- Put cheese and about 3-4 slices of pepperoni on each rectangle. Fold both the sides and then twist it.
- Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Sprinkle some italian seasoning on it before serving
Are you going to watch the Grammy’s this Sunday? Here’s a few ideas to set you in the mood – You can have a fun night by trying to dress up in your best outfit (hey, any excuse to dress up, right?) or even play a guessing game of who the winners will be! The person with the maximum number of correct guesses wins, obviously!
To make things easier, I have a Fun Free Printable Ballot for all of you, thanks to SkinnyPop Popcorn!
It’s perfect for a viewing party and sharing with family, friends and/ or co-workers this Grammy’s! You can download it for free here. It has a list of all the nominees – have fun guessing the winners! Here’s hoping the best one wins!
