Okay… I cannot believe I’m writing about cookies – I mean really? Am I crazy? You can say so. But these are not just any cookies. ‘Insomnia cookies’ are the bomb dot com!  

Let me cut to the chase and come straight to the point – I’m not much of a sweet-toothed girl. I mean although I love me some desserts, I cannot have loads of sugary sweet things all day err day. But when it comes to these cookies, I just forget about putting on those extra calories and dive in the ooey-gooey goodness. They are perfection!

Insomnia Cookies has their presence in many states in the US, with around 9 locations in New York itself (and they are apparently planning to expand) As you enter the store, the delicious smell of freshly-baked cookies takes over you and lures you. These sinfully delicious cookies are always served warm, making it all the more irresistible. So far, I have tried 4 different ones –

Chocolate chunk – These are by far the most chocolaty, chewy, moist, melt-in-the-mouth kind of cookies I have ever tasted! You can’t go wrong with them. They are by far the best I have ever tried in my life!

Peanut Butter Chip – the sweet and salty combo is uhh-mazing! Peanut butter lovers will find it truly divine.

Peanut Butter Chocolate chip – devilishly good. A best of both the worlds! My hubby’s favorite.

Double chocolate chunk – This is a tad too sweet for me but it is definitely worth trying. Next time I wanna try their S’mores and their Snickerdoodle flavors. I have seen that they often have offers going on like 12 cookies for 12$ – however, I haven’t ever dared to buy 12 cookies at one go coz knowing me, I will probably hog all of them within 2 or 3 days :D

You gotta give them a try if you find one near your place. But beware… it is really easy to get addicted to them. So you need to have self-control (which I thoroughly lack… ughh!) And did you know they also deliver up to 3 am?? I guess they have you covered for those late night hunger cravings!!
