Ever wondered what it would be like to experience cuisines from various parts of the world with intricate attention to detail?
Bub and Pop’s is a cute hidden gem in Washington D.C. that’s been featured on the show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
A while back I said that I was thinking of starting a series where I’d try to visit restaurants that have been covered on TV Shows like Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Well, one such place that I recently came across was Bub and Pop’s.
On our recent work trip to Washington D.C., I expressed my desire to visit this restaurant to my husband. Turns out, he was thinking about going there as well! Well, whaddya know? Another restaurant outing means another review 🙂
Bub and Pop’s is run by a mother-son duo and this restaurant is like those places that you may often walk by without realizing the charm it has to offer.
If you want to indulge in some deliciously fresh crêpes that are made using locally grown food, Jammin’ Crêpes is the place for you!
Being avid food lovers, my husband & I enjoy watching food shows on TV. One of our favorite shows is Guy Fieri’s show on Food Network – ‘Diners, drive-ins, and dives’ (or Triple D as it’s called) where he hunts down some of America’s best local restaurants.
It so happens that whenever he visits New York or New Jersey we always get excited! And after almost every episode, we are like – we HAVE to try out this restaurant! But the truth is – our excitement & urge to visit the restaurants they feature on their show had never really turned into anything concrete until last week.
