How to get Weeknight Meals under control when you don’t have time to Cook

This post was sponsored by Tai Pei, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

When I was little we always used to get Chinese food when my family and I used to go out on weekends. For years, my sister and I were kind of obsessed with Chow mein noodles and fried rice and we always used to insist our parents that we wanted to get that when we went out to eat. Oh, the good old times!

Getting weeknight meals under control

My love for Asian food is still present and I love experimenting in the kitchen whenever I can.

Normally I cook every night but let’s face it, that doesn’t happen on days when my days are jam-packed with work or other activities or if I’m out for most of the day. I will admit that during this time of the year, when things are extra busy, sometimes I hardly have the energy to stand in the kitchen to make a decent meal.

Having my freezer stocked up is always a great option as I know I can just open it and can have a delicious meal ready in a few minutes.

But when it comes to frozen Asian food, I’m very picky as I want something that is full of flavor and something that is not too high in calories.

I honestly feel Tai Pei Asian inspired Entrees checks all those requirements. They come in single serve containers and are loaded with exotic flavors. On days when I’m craving for some good old Asian food and just don’t have the patience or the energy to cook, I can rely on Tai Pei.

When my husband tasted their Chicken Chow Mein, he was like – you’ve got to mention in your post that it tastes just as if it has been freshly made in the kitchen. And mind you, he is the kind of person who is really choosy. Sometimes I feel, he is a better ‘food critic’ than me 😀

Plus I can directly heat it and eat it from the container itself – which means no dishes! Woohoo! Can you tell I totally despise doing dishes? I guess most of us do.

Looks aaas freshly cooked! I think it’s good alternative, sometimes I also buy something frozen or half-ready to eat for dinner. Cool post and it makes me hungry as always!
