If there is something that one can’t go wrong with – it would be an extravagant display of flowers combined with shopping. And Macy’s does this with style every year at the Macy’s Flower Show. The department store chain comes up with a theme every year for its Spring Flower Show and this year’s theme is – ‘America the Beautiful’; displaying the nation’s beauty from coast to coast.

 

The vibrant colors of the beautiful blooms and the enchanting fragrance will make you forget that you are in a shopping mall. It almost made me feel that I am in a botanical garden. I think it’s a lovely way of celebrating Spring, especially after a long, harsh winter. 

As soon as you enter the store, Lady Liberty’s beaming torch welcomes you –

As you proceed inside, the beauty from all over the country is proudly displayed. Like I said, you kind of tend to forget that you are inside a ginormous shopping complex. 

This is a must-see event & is held from 20th Mar – 3rd April this year. Apart from the Macy’s in Herald Square, New York city, they also have it in Philadelphia, Chicago, Minneapolis and San Francisco. If it’s possible for you, be sure to get a sneak peek for yourself.
